How old is this food

How old is this food in my dish? I can't tell. The owners just pour new crap on top of the old stuff, and then mix it around. I could be eating weeks-old cereal. What is it with cat owners being such deadbeats anyway? I consider myself a smart, self-sufficient pet. Why are my owners neurotic, chronically unemployed smokers/artists?

Oh, my food has ants in it. That's just #$%^&*( great.
